This policy explains what happens to your information when you use aglockdown.com. It is written to be read, not to be got past you. If anything here is unclear, ask us and we will explain it.
Who we are
Ag Lockdown Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 14996116, provides managed lockdown and emergency response services. We are the data controller for the personal information collected through this website. You can reach us at info@aglockdown.com or on +44 (0) 203 518 7211.
What we collect
When you contact us
Our enquiry form asks for your first name, last name, organisation, email address and telephone number. We collect what you type into it, and nothing else. If you email or telephone us instead, we hold whatever you choose to tell us.
When you browse
Our analytics record which pages are visited, roughly how long for, how you arrived, and general details of your browser, device and approximate location based on your IP address. This tells us which pages are useful and which are not. It does not tell us who you are.
Automatically, by our hosting
Our host keeps standard server records, including IP addresses, for security and to keep the site running.
What we do not collect
There are no accounts on this site, nothing is sold through it, and we take no payment details of any kind. We do not use your information to build a profile of you, and no automated decision is made about you.
Why we are allowed to hold it
To answer you. When you send an enquiry we use your details to reply and to follow up on what you asked about. Our lawful basis is legitimate interests: you have asked us a question and we cannot answer it without your contact details.
To understand how the site is used. Analytics cookies are set only if you agree to them. Our lawful basis is your consent, and you can withdraw it at any time.
To keep the site secure and working. Server records are kept on the basis of legitimate interests in running a safe service.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website leaves on your device.
The cookies this site needs in order to work at all are set automatically, because without them it cannot function. Analytics cookies, which are provided by Google Analytics, are different: they are set only if you accept them, and if you do not, the site works exactly as it did before.
You can change your mind at any time through your browser settings, which also let you delete any cookies already stored.
Who else sees your information
We do not sell your information, we do not rent it, and we do not pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
A small number of organisations handle it on our behalf, under contract and only on our instructions:
- Netlify, who host this website and process our enquiry form submissions.
- Google, who provide the analytics described above.
- Microsoft, whose email service carries the enquiries that reach us.
We would also disclose information if the law required it, or to protect our rights or someone's safety.
Information leaving the UK
Some of the organisations above are based outside the United Kingdom, so your information may be handled elsewhere. Where that happens it is protected by the safeguards UK data protection law requires, including the arrangements the UK government has approved for transfers to those countries.
How long we keep it
Enquiries are kept for twenty four months from our last contact with you, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off. After that they are deleted. Analytics data is held for fourteen months. Server records are kept for a short period only. If you ask us to delete your enquiry sooner, we will.
Keeping it safe
The site is served over an encrypted connection, enquiries reach us through a secured route, and access to them is limited to the people who need it. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed completely secure, and anyone who claims otherwise is overstating it.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:
- tell you what information we hold about you, and give you a copy;
- correct anything that is wrong;
- delete it;
- stop or limit what we do with it;
- provide it in a portable form; and
- stop relying on legitimate interests, where you object to that.
Where we rely on your consent, you can withdraw it at any time, and that does not affect anything done before you did.
Email info@aglockdown.com and we will respond within one month. There is no charge.
If you are not satisfied with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first, but that is your right and not ours to gate.
Children
This website is aimed at the organisations who protect people, not at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under thirteen. If you believe a child has given us their information, tell us and we will delete it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the revised version appears here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects you, we will say so rather than leaving you to notice.
